Having one app function as my second brain has improved my ability to learn, stay on track for my goals, and just generally rely less on my imperfect human memory - Notion has been a huge help! And hey, if Notion comes out with an offline mode and implements E2E encryption, I'll hand them as much money as they want.

So for at least the near future, I'm remaining a Notion customer - I'll just make sure to keep any budgeting I do offline. However, I found that even my 'best case scenario' setup of apps didn't fully address all my concerns with Notion. I use Notion for my self-learning, freelance projects, and general life management (and even managing my World of Warcraft shenanigans). After the recent service outage, increasing misgivings with Notion's security, and degraded performance lately, I wanted to see if I could use several apps to replace Notion in my daily life and workflow.
